These policies help hold the containers we create together with clarity, care, and fairness. They apply to all retreats, workshops, courses, trainings, and events offered by Sarah MacLean Bicknell, both online and in person. By registering, you agree to the following:

Tuition & Tiered Pricing

Most offerings use a three-tiered pricing model. You are invited to choose the tier that best reflects your current resources while honoring the shared nature of this work.

Benefactor Tier | Sustains Others

This tier contributes beyond the base cost, helping to nourish the Seed Tier and widen access. Your generosity ripples outward.

Equity Tier | Honors the True Cost

This tier reflects the actual cost of the offering. Choosing it supports the facilitators, the container, and the continued balance of the circle.

Seed Tier | Nourished by Community Care

This tier is for those with limited financial access. It is supported by community generosity and rooted in trust, mutuality, and collective flourishing.

Discounts & Payment Plans

Pay-In-Full Discount

If you choose to pay in full before the event begins, you receive a 10% discount on your tuition.

This discount does not apply to events <$401

Payment Plans

Many offerings (priced above $400) include a payment plan:

• 3 monthly payments, beginning at registration

• One-time $30 administrative fee added to the first monthly payment
  
  

Community Member Discounts (The Oak Grove, Forest Crown, Arbor)

Community members receive a 10% discount on tuition. Only one discount can be applied per registration.

This means:

• Paying in full → community members receive the same 10% discount.

• Using a payment plan → community members receive 10% off, and the $30 admin fee is waived.

The discount is the same in either case—members simply choose which payment method fits best. Discounts cannot be combined.

Multi-Month Programs & Trainings

For programs that unfold over several months:

Once the program begins, you are responsible for the full tuition, whether or not you complete the program, withdraw early, or miss sessions. Payment plans exist to support accessibility, but the commitment to the full tuition is part of entering the container.

Deposits

• All deposits are non-refundable.

• For offerings without a deposit (<$401), all payments except $75 are refundable if the cancellation occurs within the timelines below.

Refunds & Cancellations

Life is full, and plans change. At the same time, these offerings require significant preparation, materials, and energetic tending. To honor this:

Refund Window

Refunds (for refundable portions of tuition) are available up to 10 days before the first day of the event. Beginning on Day 10, and at any time after, no refunds can be issued.

Within 10 Days of the Event

No refunds, transfers, or credits are issued. This applies regardless of the circumstance. Thank you for understanding the care and resources that go into holding each container.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your event or session and have not canceled within the refund window, your registration is considered a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or credits.

Weather, Travel Complications & Personal Emergencies

Because venues, facilitators, and materials are secured well in advance, refunds cannot be offered when attendance is affected by:

• Weather or travel delays

• Illness or personal emergencies

• Changes in schedule or availability

This remains true even when the disruption is beyond your control.

If Sarah Cancels an Event

In the unlikely circumstance that an event must be canceled or rescheduled by Sarah:

You will receive a full refund of all payments made.
Please note that Sarah cannot refund travel, lodging, or other personal expenses.
