Men and Power: A Conversation with Grandmother Sarah, hosted by Travis Streb (online)
Men and Power
A Conversation with Grandmother Sarah, hosted by Travis Streb
What if power isn’t our ability to remain unaffected?
What if real power is our willingness to be influenced... by truth, by another person, by our own internal guidance, and by life itself?
On September 20, Grandmother Sarah and Travis Streb are gathering with a group of men for Men and Power,
a free 90-minute live conversation exploring men, power, control, influence, and discernment.
There will be no recording or replay. This is something to show up for and experience together. The way we used to...

Sacred Directions: 2nd Turning (online)
Four Weekends. Four Directions.
One Turning.
These four weekends have not been taught by Sarah before. After years of requests for these teachings, now in 2026 & 2027, these are teachings for these times.
There are not many forces that shape a life, not really. Strip away the language and the models, the complexity and the noise, and you begin to feel them as presences — one that sparks and moves, one that draws us into relationship, one that holds us to the ground we must answer to. Electricity. Magnetism. Gravity. We are not outside of these, we are made of them.
Sacred Directions, 2nd turning is four weekends across the year, each one a threshold, each one a homecoming.
What we enter together is old - ancient chemistry - the way the cosmos builds itself from the same handful of principles at every scale. Sacred geometry, fractals, the greater cycles that turn beneath the news and the noise, older than any civilisation, patient as stone. We bring these not as intellectual frameworks but as lived experience, as the body beginning to remember what it always knew.
Alongside this we walk with the earth medicines, plant and animal allies, geomancy, the intelligence of place, and we learn again what it means to be in genuine relationship with the living world rather than simply moving through it.
And we do none of this alone -the cohort is part of the medicine. Practice groups, song, prayer, ceremony, dreaming, these are not additions to the work, they are the work, the ancient technologies of belonging that have held human communities through every threshold time the world has known.
Father Sky | Weekend 1 | October 24th - 25th, 2026
The great expanse. Stars, cycles, the subtle currents moving through cosmos and body alike. We remember scale, we remember orientation, we begin to feel ourselves as participants in a living, breathing universe rather than observers of one. This is where the spark ignites.
Mother Earth | Weekend 2 | February 6th-7th, 2027
The body from which we are made and to which we return. Not only sustenance but intelligence slow, enormous, the wisdom of roots and stone, decay and renewal. Here we learn what it means to belong, not as a comfort but as a responsibility. Here the great gathering begins.
The Void | Weekend 3 | April 3rd - 4th, 2027
Session three descends into the void, into the dark and holy silence beneath all things, the fertile blackness the old ones knew as the womb of becoming. We gather at the roots of the tree of life, down where the ancestral waters pool and the great axis rises through bone and breath, joining the below to the above. Here we open to regeneration, to the slow green returning, remembering that we too are made of this dying and this rising, this dark and this green.
Completing The Wheel | Weekend 4 | June 5th - 6th, 2027
The wheel is not a fixed circle, it is a living spiral, carrying us through the seasons again and again, never to the same place, and each direction holds its own gift, its own discipline, its own medicine, so that as we tune ourselves to these seasonal intelligences, we stop walking against life and begin walking with it.
With each turning, our depths rise to greet us, ancient remembering surfaces, and with it something new, a different vision of ourselves, of our communities, of what is possible in the world.
This is threshold work, it asks everything of us and gives everything back, and in times that ask us to forget who we are, it is the light that helps us remember.
Four weekends. One year. The turn begins.
The material for these weekends is not a repeat of the work in 2026.
This round of teachings is also open to those who didn’t attend the 2025-2026 Four Directions training.

I’m changing the way I invite support for my work, because the old ways—pricing things like products, locking offerings into rigid fees—don’t reflect the spirit this work comes from. What I offer is relational, alive, and rooted in deep listening. It takes energy, time, preparation, tending. And I know I’m not the only one navigating these shifting times—many are holding resources close, and many are quietly in need. So I’m moving toward a different kind of economy—one based in reciprocity, trust, and enoughness. I’ll be naming the real costs, offering a range of ways to contribute, and trusting the circle to hold itself through mutual care. This is an experiment in right relationship. Thank you for walking it with me.
About the Facilitators
Sarah Maclean Bicknell is a healer, teacher, and mentor.
She has studied healing and ceremonial work in North American indigenous traditions for 30 years. She has incorporated her Celtic roots into her present North American practice and is sought out for her intuitive readings, workshops, ceremony, and her soul doctoring practice. More recently, Sarah has held training and facilitated Family and Nature Constellations and has run a leadership/training programme called “The Arbor”. She stands in deep gratitude to her elders and teachers that have gone before and stands firmly in her own vision, a vision that is related and crafted for these times of the 21st century. Her work is about connection, community, ceremony and respect. Also raised in the Western world, she has lived the loss of disconnection and is profoundly thankful to her indigenous elders who taught her how to re-arrive more fully into her life.
Stevie Greenwell is a musician, singer, teacher, constellator, dreamer, and ceremonialist.
She is devoted to compassionate liberation through expression, resonance, and song. We all have the divine right to a voice which can be a tool of reflection and expression to help us learn who we are and what we want to express to the world.
She works with people one-on-one with expression and inclusion work, in family systems constellations, in workshops, and leading song circles. Stevie is co-artistic director of Wildchoir. She performs various artists throughout the bay. Her songs are rooted in connection to each other, our ancestors and the earth.
Stevie combines a deep study of music with the ever-ongoing study of the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of our world. She continues to be taught by her own voice, the natural world, and Spirit. She has been studying with her teacher, Sarah Maclean Bicknell for many years in Ceremony, Constellation, Dreamwork, and Shamanic principles and is honored to be helping with this offering.
Carmen Reed is a devout dreamer and ceremonialist.
She has had a natural curiosity and relationship with her dreams her entire life, and turned this passion into a deep practice over the past 5 years studying under Grandmother Sarah Maclean Bicknell. Carmen has also gained dream knowledge and practice with graduating from The Dream School taught by Jungian analysts Dr. Lisa Marciano, Dr. Deborah Stewart, and Dr. Joseph Lee.
Carmen’s dream knowledge is rooted in Celtic, Druid, and Lakota tribe practices as well as ancient Aboriginal traditions. With her own ancestral lineage connecting back to The Celts of Scotland, dream practice and interpretation is deep in her bones. She holds numerous dream circles in a group setting, one-on-one dream interpretation work, and she also sits in community dreaming circles to dream in a better way of living for all of humanity.

Working with the Trickster in the Field (online)
Working with the Trickster in the Field
A bonus half-day constellation workshop taught by Sarah Maclean Bicknell and Uncle Kevin.
There is a figure who has been waiting at the edge of every ceremony humans have ever kept, wearing a fool's bells in one century and a spider's eight legs in another, walking backward into the wind on the Plains and hauling whole islands up out of the sea in the South Pacific, and on this one day online we will sit together and let him in the door.
Join us for a Zoom teaching on the trickster, an afternoon that moves from the English court fool who alone could speak the unspeakable truth to a king, through the masked guisers of a Scottish winter, into the Lakota Heyoka whose sacred contrariness cracks open habitual perception, and out across the Pacific with Maui, the demigod who stole fire and fished up land through sheer nerve and mischief.
We will ask what this ancient, unruly, holy fool wants from us now, in our own circles and our own constellations, when the unexpected laugh or the sudden reversal shows up right in the middle of our most careful plans.
Come ready to be surprised, because that is the only way the trickster ever really teaches.
All participants registered for The Invisible Thread: Shamanic Dimensions within Systemic Constellations will get free access to this bonus class.
Exchange for those not attending The Invisible Thread:

Sarah's Shamanic Approach to Constellation
For Sarah, the knowing field that constellation work reveals is not separate from the field she has walked with as a ceremony keeper for thirty five years, and the two have grown into each other until they can no longer be pulled apart. Her ceremonial adoption into the Hunka’waye tradition of the Lakota Nation in 1991, her decades of sweat lodge practice, and her ongoing shamanic teachings have taught her that the ancestors, the land, and the dreaming body are already present in the constellation before a single representative steps into the field, and that the work of the facilitator is to recognize what has already arrived rather than to summon something new.
Where classical constellation asks a representative to notice sensation and impulse, Sarah brings a shamanic attunement to what else is moving in that same body, the animal that appears unbidden, the ancestor who steps forward without being called, the weather or the season or the mineral memory of a particular stretch of ground, and she has learned to trust these arrivals as fully as she trusts the words a representative speaks. She often works with the felt intelligence of the land itself as a member of the system, understanding place not as backdrop but as kin with its own unresolved grief and its own capacity for healing, so that a constellation held outdoors, or one that simply remembers it is happening on living ground, can open into depths that an indoor room rarely reaches on its own.
This is the thread that runs beneath her nature and dream constellation retreats, and it is why seekers often describe her constellations as feeling less like a technique being applied to them and more like a ceremony that has been waiting, patiently, for them to arrive.

This course is for advanced dreamers and anyone looking to continue deepening their relationship with the dreamtime.
The Invisible Thread - Shamanic Dimensions within Systemic Constellations
The Invisible Thread:
Shamanic Dimensions within Systemic Constellations
In Person Training : February 25th-March 2nd, 2027
Seattle, Washington
This retreat focuses on the shamanic approach to the constellation field.
This training offers a shamanic approach to the Family Constellation field, an invitation to meet the field not only as psychological terrain, but as living, sacred ground.
We will explore what soul retrieval looks like when it arises within the field itself, and how ceremony and ritual find their own way to be expressed there, often without our planning it. We will look closely at the clearing of misaligned magic left along the ancestral line, including hauntings that have gone unnamed for generations.
This approach reaches beyond the family members present to include the land and the circumstances that were there at the very onset of the event. It offers a way of seeing a larger gathering, all that carries the event and the trauma that followed it. Nothing stands isolated, all is involved, all is witnessed, all is remembered.
We will also work with helping spirits, how they arrive and represent within the field, and, as facilitators, how we can learn to step back just enough to let the field's own presence constellate what wants to be known.
This is deep work, offered with reverence for what the field already holds and knows.
Prerequisite: Participants must have completed a substantial amount of constellation repping to be eligible for this training and have taken the online course on the Trickster:
Working with the Trickster in the Field - February 13th

A shamanic constellation is a ceremonial approach to systemic constellation work, a field originally developed by Bert Hellinger…infused with the cosmology, ritual, and spiritual awareness found in shamanic traditions.
In essence, it’s a way of revealing hidden patterns of energy, ancestry, and spirit within a person or a community by giving form and voice to the unseen.
Where a traditional constellation might explore family dynamics or social systems, a shamanic constellation widens the field to include ancestors, land spirits, elements, dreams, and archetypal forces.
In a shamanic constellation:
The circle is treated as sacred space. The facilitator often opens it ceremonially, calling in the directions, the elements, and the helping spirits.
Participants may stand as representatives not only for family members but also for dreams, illnesses, rivers, ancestors, or collective wounds.
The process invites embodied listening—feeling what moves through the field rather than analyzing it.
Ritual actions—breath, drumming, offerings, movement, ceremony…..may help release what has been held or bring the system back into balance.
The goal is not just insight but restoration of harmony..between people and their ancestors, between humans and the more-than-human world.
The use of the word shamanic is used as an adjective to describe a cosmology that is earth based and includes a magical world where everything has a spirit and is alive

Mapping the Dream in the Field: Dream Constellation Facilitator Training | London, UK
Mapping the Dream in the Field: Dream Constellation Facilitator Training
with Sarah Maclean Bicknell
4th-8th May, 2027 10-6 BST in London, UK
Do we pursue the dream, or does the dream pursue us?
At this training we will explore how to constellate the dream/dreamtime.
“Mapping the Dream in the Field” is a five day training coming to the UK, bringing together three living lineages of systemic work, the traditional, the phenomenological, and the shamanic, and asking them to meet inside the oldest human practice there is, the practice of dreaming.
Facilitators learn to work with dream not as private symbol but as a living member of the field, a relation carrying messages from the ancestors, the land, and the spirit world into the room.
Supervised practice builds through the week, from a single noticed image to full constellations, so each participant leaves having stood inside the work themselves.
This event is hosted by Illi Adato from the London School of Systemic and Family Constellations
Held at Violet Hill Studios, St John's wood, London.
Participation is limited (around 20 people) and attendees join daily.
Times are TBC (accommodation/food not provided)

Constellations in the Wild in Sula Montana. A Nature constellation retreat with Sarah Maclean Bicknell and Susan Schlosser
Night Turtle Dance
The Night Turtle Dance is a ceremony of love, devotion and gratitude for Mother Earth. We come together under the full moon every year to sing and dance upon a turtle altar. We do this not for ourselves, but simply to sing and dance our prayers of love and gratitude. The altar honors Grandmother Turtle, Mother Earth, the stars, and the four elements of water, air, fire and earth.

Malta Constellators International Conference
Constellating the Dream –
Mapping the Stories that Find Us in Sleep
Malta Constellators International Conference
About the event
Dreaming isn’t solitary, it’s collective, embodied, and alive. In dream constellation, we place the dream at the centre of the circle and let it unfold through the field of many. Rather than interpreting, we constellate the dream, giving it voice, movement, and form through those who stand in its symbols. From this shared field, a new dream emerges: The Village Dream, a living guide that shapes our waking days and calls us back each night. This is not a metaphor. It’s medicine for these times.
About Sarah
Sarah Maclean Bicknell has been facilitating Family and Systems constellations for 13 years. Her deep love of ceremony and earth-based teachings arrived her into a natural relationship with the family constellation process. Her work utilizes shamanic and dream perspectives that bring ancestral healing into the room with precision and love. Deeply immersed for over fifty years in Dreamwork and thirty years in the ancient indigenous perspectives, Sarah brings a unique contribution into the constellation fields.

BETWIXT AND BETWEEN: A Retreat for Dreamers, Wanderers, and Makers of Meaning
BETWIXT AND BETWEEN: A Retreat for Dreamers, Wanderers, and Makers of Meaning
Betwixt and Between calls to those willing to walk the edge between what is ending and what wants to begin. To those who travel by vision, who listen through the dark currents that would forbid them, who refuse to retreat into fear.
Let us gather again to dream, constellate, and celebrate through ceremony. To strengthen our spiritual immune systems and remember the paths that resonate most deeply with who we are becoming. This is a retreat for the adventurer of soul, the traveller between worlds, the one who knows that the way forward begins in the unseen.
Understanding What We Carry - a deep immersion in family constellation work
This weekend invites experienced participants into a deeper engagement with the family field, where inherited patterns, loyalties, and interruptions can be met with greater clarity and care. Through focused constellation work, we attend to what has been carried across generations and what is now ready to be set down or re-placed in right relationship. This work asks for presence, and a willingness to listen beyond personal narrative. This work also shares the healing within community thus bringing about welcomed shifts in the whole circle of life.

This retreat is a deep dive into the living field of ceremonial constellation.
A training for those who have already walked some distance with this work and are ready to go further, ready to listen more closely, to move with greater trust, to let the field itself become teacher.
We enter not as experts but as apprentices to the unseen.
We learn through embodiment, through dream, through ceremony how to work on the field with our helpers and guides
The emphasis is on living the practice, not mastering it.
In this deep dive we will explore the subtleties of facilitation, the presence required to hold ancestral and collective fields, to work with a spirit-led practice rooted in relationship with the seen and unseen, and the humility that allows healing to move through us.
It is advanced work, yes, but it begins, as always, with listening. Advanced Listening.
Sarah brings her indigenous informed healing practices to the constellation field and will share what she has discovered in how to work in a similar way within system constellations.

12 Nights of Dreaming - Community Dreaming with Sarah and Seth Pardo
Once again we come together for 12 Nights Of Dreaming as a Community.
Dreaming is a powerful practice for personal and collective healing that is accessible to every human being. In the context of Druidic beliefs, the “12 Nights of Dreaming” refers to a time around the winter solstice when Druids would gather and focus on dreams and visionary experiences as a way to deepen their connection with Spirit, with Nature, and one another while accessing guidance and insights for the coming year.
Sarah has been engaging in this practice for decades, and it persists as a personal practice that she leans into and uses as she moves between December and January of each year. Sarah has invited Seth Pardo, an Alumnus of the Arbor Legacy and Minister with the Congregation for Sacred Practices, to lead this year’s Community Dreaming and 12 Nights of Dreaming Practices.
Join Seth, plus a growing community of active dreamers for an interactive workshop on Community Dreaming followed by our community tradition of 12 Nights of Dreaming to dream in the guidance and insights we need for the coming year!

Walking the Sacred Wheel: A Yearlong Journey
Online Training – 8 classes, 4 weekends
November 2025-July 2026
Taught By Sarah MacLean Bicknell and Stevie Greenwell
The sacred wheel is not only a map of the seasons and the soul—it is a map of how dreams become reality. In the West, ideas stir in the waters of feeling and imagination. In the North, they are given shape through clarity and intention, held steady like bones beneath flesh. In the East, vision ignites, sparking plans and new beginnings. And in the South, the dream finally takes form in the material world, becoming life, body, and action.
Walking the wheel is learning how to bring the unseen into the seen—how to manifest the soul’s purpose into the fabric of the Earth.
Each virtual session offers a balance of storytelling, nature constellation work, simple ceremony, embodied practice, quiet reflection, and shared conversation. You’re encouraged to bring a candle, journal, and a small altar object that holds heart and meaning for each direction’s element. Practices and inquiry questions will be offered to explore between the quarterly gatherings. For those in a cohort, mentoring continues with your same group throughout the year.
