BETWIXT AND BETWEEN: A Retreat for Dreamers, Wanderers, and Makers of Meaning
On the eve of Covid, in the first week of March 2020, I held a retreat that changed everything. It was the first time I fully wove together the strands I had long lived and taught..dreaming, ceremony, and constellation. Until then, they had been separate rooms in the same house. That gathering happened at a time of great disorientation, and somehow, it became a lantern. The participants still speak of how it carried them through what followed. From that circle was born the Village Green, our online community, and later The Arbor Legacy, which will complete its final turning in April 2026.
Now, post September 2025, the world trembles again…politically, ecologically, spiritually..it feels time to open the door once more. Betwixt and Between calls to those willing to walk the edge between what is ending and what wants to begin. To those who travel by vision, who listen through the dark currents that would forbid them, who refuse to retreat into fear.
Let us gather again to dream, constellate, and celebrate through ceremony.
To strengthen our spiritual immune systems and remember the paths that resonate most deeply with who we are becoming. This is a retreat for the adventurer of soul, the traveller between worlds, the one who knows that the way forward begins in the unseen.

We begin with working with a dream question and take this into our dreaming
We constellate the dream together to get the next question and ream with the question again, repeating this practice through the retreat
We work the dreaming together with a Community dreaming method of distillation

We will be working in community together to weave the retreat into the direction that the field shows us. You will be introduced in a deep way to the “field”
The field is described by Rupert Sheldrake’s work as “morphic resonance” (Sheldrake, 2009). Sheldrake’s theory describes how the thoughts or behaviours of physically isolated individuals might converge in a manner that is reminiscent of ESP because they are able to draw on a ‘morphic field’ that acts as a record of an organism’s or species’ previous behaviours.
